Hi, I’m Abby DiGiandomenico, founder of Port Burwell Dental Hygiene. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, Practical Nurse, educator, and longtime healthcare professional, I’m passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smiles.

A little about Dr. Patel…
Dr. Vivek Patel is a compassionate dentist with nearly a decade of dental experience. Having trained in India and recently completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Pittsburgh, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice. As an active member of the Ontario Dental Association and American Dental Association, Dr. Patel is committed to ongoing learning and providing gentle, patient-centred care built on trust and comfort.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Patel enjoys exploring new places, hiking in nature, and playing racket sports, especially badminton.
Rooted in Community
Born and raised in St. Thomas, Abby has always had a strong connection to Port Burwell. From childhood days spent fishing off the pier, visiting the lighthouse, and enjoying the beach town atmosphere, the community has always held a special place in her heart.
Today, she feels incredibly honoured to care for the smiles of the people in the same community she grew up loving.
With a background in both dental hygiene and nursing, Abby brings compassion, experience, and education together to provide thoughtful, personalized care for every patient.
